MAHU MAROUA 2021 "DIPITA PROJECT"
This project is about Emergency Humanitarian Assistance Mission to internally displaced persons in Maroua.
Following bloody inter-community tensions in November 2021 in Kousseri in the Far North of Cameroon, a border town with Chad, many people had to flee from this situation to the town of Djaména and even more so to the town of Maroua. It was on this occasion that part of Cameroonian civil society took action around the "DIPITA" project coordinated by the NGO FADEC along with several other organisations and associations. SAFA was pleased to participate actively in this operation by providing equipment, logistics and food for the internally displaced refugees.
